Band From TV played a magnificent show on Thursday night at the Orange Ball. Sadly, I was not in attendance, but the articles flooding the internet about the event say positive things about their performance. Greg Grunberg, Adrian Pasdar, Scott Grimes, James Denton, and Bob Guiney were all in attendance; Teri Hatcher joined them for this performance. Jesse Spencer and Hugh Laurie were not present; Jesse is currently in Tel Aviv, Israel with other member of the House, M.D. cast, and Hugh is currently touring in Europe for his new debut blues album Let Them Talk. The Orange Ball was put on by Lupus LA. Lupus LA is one of the charities the band supports, and is Scott Grimes choice charity.

We don't have too much information, but I thought I'd put a post out there as a heads up for anyone who hopes to attend. A week or so ago, John Durham tweeted Greg Grunberg about Band From TV playing at the Cerritos Center on August 6th.

Sadly, we don't have that much more information on the show, but Kristen (archaeoape) was nice enough to share this ad from the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts brochure, which she got in the mail:

Basic information in ad:
Saturday 6 August 2011 @ 8PM
Ticket Prices: $90/ $80/ $65/ $55
To order call 800-300-4345 or visit www.cerritoscenter.com

[FYI: August events are not on their website yet.]

Do you miss seeing the band play alongside Teri Hatcher? Well, you're in luck. Band From TV will be playing Wisteria Lane's Block Party to help support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. One of our favourite Elvis impersonators, James Denton, is an honorary chairman of the foundation.

SATURDAY, APRIL 16, 2011
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS BACK LOT

The block party also has an amazing celebrity line-up. For all you geeks out there, Nathan Fillion and 2 other Castle actors are said to be attending.

Hugh Laurie, Greg Grunberg, Bob Guiney, James Denton, Jesse Spencer, Scott Grimes and Adrian Pasdar treat music and tv fans alike with three shows Feb 19-21

I can probably count on one hand the number of times a live vocal rock performance has sent literal chills down my spine.

Scott Grimes (ER, Band of Brothers) is now responsible for two of those times.

Grimes, along with fellow stars/rockers Bob Guiney (The Bachelor), Greg Grunberg (Heroes), James Denton (Desperate Housewives), Jesse Spencer (House), Adrian Pasdar (Heroes) and Hugh Laurie (House), collectively known as Band From TV, returned to Niagara’s Fallsview Casino Resort this past weekend for three follow up shows to last year’s extremely popular gigs.
